Terms of Trade

Designers' Collection offers Trade Accounts to practising professional Interior Designers and Architects.

There are three stages to a Designers' Collection transaction: Quote, Order Confirmation and Invoice.

QUOTES

Trade prices quoted on this website are for the standard size and standard specification detailed for that design.  If you require changes to these details, please contact our team.

Prices quoted are valid for 60 days.  Please check prices if your quote is older than 60 days.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

When you have agreement from your client to proceed with an order, we will provide you with an Order Confirmation.  To confirm your order requires the payment of a 50% deposit.  Payment of your deposit is agreement to the product specification(s) detailed on your Order Confirmation.  READ THE DETAILED SPECIFICATION(S) ON YOUR ORDER CONFIRMATION CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THEY ARE CORRECT, AS THIS IS WHAT WE WILL MANUFACTURE.

CANCELLATIONS

Once a deposit has been paid confirming your order, orders are unable to be cancelled.

PRODUCTION & SHIPPING LEAD-TIMES

We will use best endeavours to produce and deliver your order within our targeted lead-times.  We will inform you if we become aware of material delays that will affect your expected delivery timeline.  Our aim is to produce our locally made designs within 6-8 weeks of order.  For upholstered products, this assumes that we receive your specified fabric within 3 weeks of order.

For imported products, please allow 60 working days for production and 10-12 weeks for sea freight.  If you would prefer to air-freight smaller items, we will quote this freight cost separately.

INVOICE - CASH ACCOUNT

We will invoice you including freight prior to delivery.  Payment of the invoice balance is required prior to booking the delivery.

INVOICE - CREDIT ACCOUNT

We will invoice you prior to or soon after your delivery.  Payment of the invoice balance is required by the 20th day of the month following invoice.

OWNERSHIP

Designers' Collection retains the ownership of all items supplied until it receives full payment for the goods.

TRADE ACCOUNTS

Applying for a Designers Collection Limited Trade Account is agreement to the Terms of Trade outlined above.
